Eek! Why did you come here? Are you really that curious? Don't you know the saying about how curiousity killed . . . well, never mind that. You're here now, so you may as well stay awhile.
Let's see . . . you probably have some questions about my site. Like, why do you have a name and title pic that address a certain game, yet your site is mainly about other stuff? Why Tripod and those annoying banner adds? Why all the black backgrounds?
Well, hmm . . . the name and title pic I can answer. My site, when I first created it, was originally supposed to be about Zelda: Ocarina of Time, but instead of putting that stuff up, I first put up fanfiction and other stuff (this was on Homestead, btw). Approximately one year later, I finally started to put some Zelda stuff up, but by then the game's effect was wearing off, and I was interested in other games, too. So I started to make pages for those. Then I decided I didn't like Homestead as much anymore--it's an HTML editor--so I moved to Tripod. It was then that I finally unveiled some Z64 stuff, but, since the game was not as popular as before, I had a slight lack of visitors. I wanted to change my site, so that it was not entirely zelda, but I still liked the title. And my main pic. Sooo . . . I kept them. I have a link to the z64 section of my site on my main page, and I'm keeping the title and main pic. Sorry, but that's pretty much the way it has to be. I can't think of a better title (^^;;), and people seem to like the main pic.
I hope someone was able to make sense out of that . . .
Okay, next up--why Tripod? Because nothing else suits me. I'm pretty picky about pretty much everything, but I like the way Tripod works. The banner adds . . . yeah, those are annoying. But if you minimize them, they'll stay that way as you go from page to page. So hopefully it doesn't bother anyone too much. If it does, I am sorry, but I beg you not to forget about my site just because of the stupid banner adds! I update often--not as often as I used to, but still fairly often--and I do have a lot of stuff here. I am, as of now, working on more stuff to put up, and it will definitely be up soon.
Oooookay, now, the backgrounds thing--come on, people, it's a theme! I read somewhere (sorry, can't remember exactly where--if it was your site, just let me know) that pages in a website should have something similar on every page, or some sort of style or theme, so that the visitor knows they are at the same site the entire time. I, personally, agree with that completely--also, it gets annoying to have manymanymanymanymanymany backgrounds all on one site. I like black backgrounds as opposed to lighter ones--I think it helps focus on the text better. And, until recently, at the top of every page, I had the title in Impact font, size 7, and purple, blue, or green. Another example of style. Now, I have these graphics in weird font at the top, but it's still consistent.
About me, now? Ugh . . .
As described in some original writing that I am going to be putting up very soon, I appear to be some form of elf-creature. I have brown hair, about to my shoulders (okay, okay, it was cut recently, but it's getting there), and long, pointed ears--that would be the elfin part. Dark brown eyes, favorite weapon's a sword. Hey, magic's not bad either--though, as you'll see in my new story(s), I'm not overly good at it. Mmmm . . . um, let's see . . . most of the time, I follow the "actions speak louder than words" type thing--I'm quiet, unless help or action is needed, or I'm with my friends ^^. I have recently become a lot more agressive--something that worries me--but I try to control it. I believe in God and Christianity, and I always will. I also, as you probably guessed, enjoy video games, especially RPG's, and writing, though I know I'm not overly good, and I'm trying to get better. I don't like most forms of chocolate, and I don't listen to the radio--if it's a talk show on the radio, I find it annoying, and there are so many stations . . . radios just don't like me. I once spent a Saturday morning playing with the dials on one, and as I found out, radios . . . just don't like me! ^^ Umm . . . I once broke a car door--yes, sometimes I think I'm accident-prone--and I've have played many musical instruments--one of which I almost caused to shatter into a million pieces. Ah, yes, I am very competetive. Nothing bothers me more than a battle I can't win, except for being sick--I hate having to lie around and do nothing! I always have to be doing something . . .
The name, Aldrea? Not the real one, though it almost feels like it by now. Age? Two thousand fifteen. Where do I live? How should I know? I don't live there . . . um, that made no sense, but you get the point--I'm not going to tell you. Hmm . . . I become obsessed by RPG's very easily, though I can only be obsessed by one at a time. It's, "The Rule." ^^ Umm, well, I guess that's about it. Thanks for reading all the way through this, and checking out my site, I appreciate all of it. Thanks a bunch.
